The horse racing event will feature nine races across the course of the day with some of the biggest racing names involved. The Dubai World Cup is also considered the world’s richest day in horse racing as well as a sporting highlight in the calendar year.

If you can’t make the big day, there are plenty of other horse races and events all across the month of March. It is an excellent time of year to visit if you are a fan of the races!

Dubai Traditional Dhow Sailing Race

Hosted by the Dubai International Marine Club, this will be the second heat of the race taking place over 60ft. This time of year is the best in terms of water and weather conditions, so you will have arrived at the perfect time.

Dhow boats are traditional boats of UAE so you will also see a nice piece of Emirati culture and heritage during the sport!

The spectacles at Global Village run from October to April but this is still a great spot to hit when visiting Dubai in March.

What is the Temperature Like in Dubai in March?

March is an ideal travel time to Dubai as the weather is warm and dry. You can expect to see highs of 29°C and lows of 18°C. The temperature is perfect for evening strolls on the beach and staying out in the daytime without feeling too overwhelmed by the desert heat.
